I am Carole's daughter and am a long time Port Moody resident living in the area with my husband and teenage son. I have a 26 year insurance background and have had a wide variety of experiences which have led to my strength in communication, organization, negotiation, and time management. I had all the ups and downs in the life of an insurance adjuster for 10 years. While some situations were unpleasant, I always treated people how I would like to be treated which is with respect. The job itself demanded efficient time management, organizational skills, and an exceptional ability to negotiate. The next 16 years were spent working as a program director for a rehab company whose main clientele came from ICBC. So while this was still an insurance job, it was a very much a sales and marketing career. We were constantly marketing ourselves, either by cold calls or going to meet with lawyers or adjusters to pitch our services. It feels like a natural next step for me to go into real estate as I've been listening and paying attention to my Mom and sisters talk about Real Estate for as long as I can remember. I feel almost by osmosis I already know so much about the market and some of the clients they work with. I know they all have great pride in what they do and really care about their clients. I hope to bring all the same attributes to the team while also adding my own skill sets to the mix.
